Send a Kid to the Show
To provide an opportunity for a diverse audience of youngsters to see Just a Matter of Time by Sandra Dutton at its premiere Showcase presentation run in New York City’s Theater District, Wayne Sheridan, the play’s executive producer, the YMCA’s of Greater New York, and SmartTix have created the “Send a Kid to the Show” program. Wayne conceived the program in response to the many supporters of the play who regretted they could not personally come to the premiere, but wished to lend support in other ways. Wayne is a long time volunteer at “Y’s” in New York, Maine and throughout the country. He was a founding member of the Junior Board of Directors of the YMCA’s of Greater New York.
You can now “Send a Kid to the Show,” with youngsters chosen by the YMCA of Greater New York, by donating on-line or over the phone. There is no minimum or maximum donation, but each ticket’s full cost is $19.80 – a real bargain for a full-length musical showing in New York. To donate visit the website www.SmartTix.com,click on the play Just a Matter of Time, which is advertised on the home page; you will be sent to the play’s own site page; then mark “donate only” in the column at the left, put in the amount you wish to donate in the appropriate box, then hit “Find Tickets” and follow the instructions from there.
